My sister, Claudia Mochel-Kalis is a loving mom, grandma, and caregiver, and she is fighting for her life in Florida.
Claudia has multiple health issues but has been living independently and bravely managing them for years. She suffers from diabetes, renal failure and COPD. About a month ago she went for her dialysis treatment in Florida, the Unit noticed some wounds on both her ankles and a family member took her to the emergency room.
This recent infection turned critical within 24 hours, jeopardizing her right leg and possibly her life.
Time is running out, Loyola Hospital in Chicago offers her the best chance, but she needs an emergency medical flight to get there. We've exhausted family medical resources and desperately need your help to get this critical care.
$28,000 will cover the medical flight, including ambulance transfers and in- flight care. Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to getting Claudia the care she needs.
Time has now become critical because until we secure the flight, we cannot seek an ICU bed and a Doctor at Loyola which also takes time and some luck.
Please see it in your heart to help. Donate, share this campaign to get Claudia home to fight for her future!
