Hello, my name is Claudia. I never imagined I would have to share a story like this, but today I need to open my heart and ask for help. I live with my mother and my teenage daughter. I've always been a hard worker and did everything I could to support my family. I had two jobs to cover our household expenses and make sure my daughter and mother had everything they needed. But in March of last year, my life changed completely when I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. The cancer had already metastasized to my brain, spine, and liver. From that moment on, everything became a daily struggle. I had to stop working to begin chemotherapy. After my first treatment, something very difficult happened: one of the discs in my spine fractured, and I was practically immobile for six months. Those were very hard months, full of pain, treatments, therapies, and a lot of uncertainty. Thanks to God, the doctors' efforts, and the support of my family, I gradually managed to walk again. I finished my chemotherapy treatment and for a moment I thought I was finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I dreamed of going back to work, getting my life back, and continuing to take care of my family. But at the beginning of January, we received devastating news. In my last PET scan, the doctors found that the cancer had returned. Now I have to start another treatment with an even stronger medication than before. Every day I try to endure the effects of chemotherapy with faith, hope, and the love of my family by my side. Right now, my mother has had to take on the financial responsibility for our household, which has been very difficult for us. That's why today, with great humility, I am asking for help to cover medical expenses, medications, transportation to my treatments, and our basic household needs while I continue fighting for my life.
