Who we are: We are the Cath Lab at THHBP! We are a warrior family!

 

Who is she: Claudia Wimmer-Sommerhalter is a wife, sister, aunt and a Cath Lab Nurse.

She is a fan of Oklahoma Sooners football, an avid quilter and loves to can vegetables. She loves country music and the Frankie and Grace series. She is a Prince of Peace Lutheran Church member in Carrollton and is a Stephen Minister and trainer for Stephen Ministries.

 

What went down: Claudia went for her annual mammogram at the end of January. February 17th, diagnosed with DCIS breast cancer. Results led to 2 lumpectomies on April 15th and April 29th.

 

We know: Savi brachytherapy radiation catheter was inserted on May 10th for a short-term course of radiation treatment.

 

How can you help: Claudia has been going stir crazy not being able to work....she likes to be productive and hates being bored. Hopefully, we can support Claudia in facing financial challenges post-surgery and radiation treatment. Feel free to stop in for a visit. I'm sure Ken would welcome your support.
