Please help Claudia get a new hand.

On Friday,  6 November 2020, my fiancée and I were in an automobile accident while driving home after dinner. There was a vehicle that swerved in front of us, then away from us, causing me to swerve as well. I overcorrected while swerving and the car went into a spin and then flipped over, hit the center concrete barrier, and then stopped in the center lanes. We have no information on the other vehicle other than it was light colored. We had to be cut out of our seatbelts. I suffered broken ribs, but Claudia sustained a broken nose, something ruptured in her eye, and her right had had to be amputated. Our lives will never be the same. But through this all, we send thanks to Heaven above that we both survived.

 My insurance company is covering the accident up to my limits, but it is certain the cost of the hospital stay and rehabilitation will go beyond those limits. We are looking for donations to help cover any medical bills along with rehabilitation and a prosthetic (hand). There is a revolutionary new procedure that may allow Claudia to use her own nerves impulses to move and control her prosthetic hand called a myoelectric prosthetic hand.

 In a time of COVID-19 and economic hardship, we understand times are very hard for everyone but humbly ask for a donation of any amount to help cover these costs. Even if you cannot donate, please share with as many friends and family as possible in the hopes that Claudia can someday lead as normal a life as possible after this terrible hardship. Thank you.
