Claudia is Getting a New Hairdo!

Hi, my name is Keri and this is my mom, Claudia. Earlier this year, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and this summer she underwent a double mastectomy. If anyone knows my mom, she has been through a lot in the last five years so this was just another bump in the journey of her life. Claudia has been nothing but positive, unwavering in her belief that God has a plan for her, and patient with every step.

Two weeks ago, she started chemo. Today, as expected, her hair started to fall out in clumps. Of course, it is a known side effect, but we also know the connection a person can have to their hair. In the last year, Mom had been working to strengthen her already thinning hair with a wonderful product regimen and it had been working! So today was a considerable loss.

That brings us to this moment. I am fundraising to gift my mom a present of a very nice wig. There are beautifully made, human hair wigs with silk tops that are comfortable for those who have hair loss just like her. I would like for her to pick out her wig, to be a part of the process of choosing what she will end up wearing.

These wigs are custom made and range from $1500-$2000 each. The goal is to make $2200 (minus the fees from this platform). If we reach over this amount, I will purchase cute winter hats and accessories or even another wig depending on how far we get.

I am happy to answer any and all questions about this wig buying process as I have been doing extensive research.

Again, Claudia knows nothing of this and I would like to keep it a secret.
