Claudia & Angie Car Accident Financial Support

Here at KISD West Transportation we are lucky to have Claudia and Angie as friends and co-workers. Claudia is an awesome special needs driver and Angie is an amazing special needs attendant. They really love their job and it really shows. Both of them are a joy to be around. Unfortunately, while on their way to work another driver failed to yield which resulted in a serious high speed collision. Claudia suffered some severe injuries in the crash. She has a broken ankle, several broken ribs, a collapsed lung (some internal bleeding), significant damage to her spine and neck (no paralysis), and a brain bleed. Angie also suffered a fractured pelvis and tailbone with some internal bleeding in her liver. They were initially taken to Memorial Hermann in Katy. Due to the severity of her injuries, Claudia was life flighted to Memorial Hermann Trauma Center in the medical center. Angie was transferred via ambulance to Memorial Hermann in the Woodlands. We hope they will make a full recovery, but it will come at a high cost. They will be missing a significant amount of work and facing a mountain of medical bills. Please feel free to donate!
