Alternative Cancer Treatment

Help desperately needed to fund URGENT alternative cancer treatment for my husband, Claude.
First, let me say that for those of you that know my husband well and talk to him frequently, please DON'T MENTION MY BEGGING FOR PEOPLE'S HELP AT ALL TO CLAUDE.
As you know, if you know him well, he's very, very proud and does not ever "work the system" in any aspect of his life. So, I'm not telling him until funds have been raised that he can have the life-saving cancer treatment options that are out there.
The love of my life, my soul mate has a really tragic situation going on. About a yr & 1/2 ago, he was diagnosed with very early stage bladder cancer confined at that time only to the bladder itself. The doctor recommended taking out his bladder. She said then he'd have to go the rest of his life with a bag to collect urine hanging on his side. Well, again, if you know Claude, you know that he's not only proud, but also very conscious of the possibility of looking weird, and having this bag slow down his life style of working out at the cardio-rehab twice a week and being very active in general. Not to mention that he'd be mortified if he even once smelled like urine! So he made the comment to the urologist - "Well, if that the option, then I was born with my bladder and I guess I'll die with it, cuz I just cannot be "that guy". SHE NEVER MENTIONED THAT THERE WERE OTHER OPTIONS FOR AN INTERNAL BAG ETC just because SHE wasn't qualified to do that alternative surgery. So, she just took that tumor out, gave him some chemical treatments into his bladder and hoped for the best.
Well, then another tumor grew. Again, she took it out but at that point, he demanded to be referred on an actual cancer doctor. That doctor told him that the cancer by this time had spread into 9 lymph nodes in addition to the bladder. But the real sad part was that he told Claude that the first doctor could have suggested the internal bag from day one and the cancer most likely would have been gone for good. NOW, NO LONGER WAS THAT AN OPTION. Since it had spread, it is incurable. He said that even though that tumor was also removed, without the most aggressive (and thus most debilitating) form of chemo & radiation, he had only 6 months to live.
Plus, even if he went thru 4-6 months of chemo, he was likely to only live 6-9 months afterwards. So, as you can imagine, we thought and prayed about what to do and ultimately decided to look at "alternative, naturopathic options". His thoughts were why be miserable for 4-6 months of chemo plus who knows how long afterward (for sake of argument, let's say that took 3 months) to only gain another 3-6 months of life.
Well, we've been trying the "alternative treatments" that we could afford. There aren't many options unless you have BIG BUCKS because insurance doesn't pay except for traditional treatments. They have helped, as the cancer in the lymph nodes hasn't progressed.
But just this week, he went in for another scan, and we were devastated to find out that he had a new tumor growing in his bladder. A BIG ONE. Bigger than the 2 previous tumors put together. And to make matters worse, it has grown from zero to that in the last 45 days! They say this one is too large to take out unless they take out his bladder but even that won't fix what cancer has spread out into potentially other organs.
Again, this means chemo & radiation VERY AGGRESSIVELY RIGHT AWAY, or getting into the alternative proton laser treatment for advanced cancer in Seattle or going down to Mexico to participate in their adv. cancer treatments which aren't OK's by the FDA so not available in the US.
The Seattle option takes about $15K to get started. It's treatment once a day 3-5 days a week for about 6 months. And so he'd have to have a place to stay up there, meals, etc.
The Mexico option all inclusive would be about $28K.
BOTH HAVE SHOWN AMAZING RESULTS WITH BLADDER CANCERS.
So, I'm desperately appealing to all my friends and family that if each person this reaches donated even $10 we could probably get him the life-saving treatment that he needs.
For those of you that are close friends, I'm sure you can vouch for the fact that he is such a loving guy. He mentors lots of young people and he's "grandpa" to all the kids at the dance school and beyond. He's got a lot of life yet to live.
SO IF YOU CAN SPARE EVEN $10, PLEASE PAY IT FORWARD. I'm praying that kind hearted people will step up to help. And I promise that will again pay-it-forward when someone else needs help.
As you can imagine, we MUST get treatment started ASAP. So please, if you can donate, do it today. Every day that we delay starting something gives him less of a chance for a good outcome.
I want to assure everyone that if I raise more money than is needed for Claude's treatment, I promise to donate any left-over $ to a cancer research charity.
