Student Help Fund

In today's global economy, learning another language opens up new opportunities and gives students perspectives that they might never encounter otherwise. 
As a German teacher near New York City, I am constantly amazed at how my students work to use their language skills to become successful members of our global society. In an effort to experience first-hand the language and culture of the countries they are studying, I am taking a group of students to Austria and Germany for two weeks in the summer of 2016.
While the cost of the trip is affordable for most families in the district, there is one young lady who might not be able to attend. She lost her father under tragic circumstances, and his loss has put a tremendous strain on the family's financial situation.
I can think of no other student who is more deserving of this trip. She has a true love and passion for the German language, its culture and its people, and has worked incredibly hard for the past 4 years. Can you help her participate in this class trip by making a small donation?
