Classical Indian Dance recital by Geetha Anand
"I am undertaking the challenge of performing 8 classical choreographies in the Bharatnatyam and Mohiniattam repertoire, two dance forms I embraced rather late in life, as I was about to turn 50. The journey has had its own hurdles, but I am determined to make it matter. I have lost two very dear people to dementia, my grandmother Smt. Sree Devi Amma and my sister's father-in-law, Mr. Gopalakrishnan. It is in their memory that I dedicate this performance, to which you are invited (RSVP to Geetha Anand by phone/email).
Joining me virtually with singing performances will be my sister Shanthi Arun and my niece Sneha Arun.
Would you like to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of Alzheimer's Research UK, and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause.
