Classical Cleveland has been offered a Bechstein Grand piano as a free gift, by a County Durham church where it is now surplus to requirements. The piano is in good condition other than needing a keyboard overhaul.

The existing piano at Marske Leisure centre is in mint condition but as an upright piano it does not have the versatility of a grand. Having a grand piano will enable us to resume including solo piano recitals in our concert season.

The cost of the overhaul plus transport from Durham to Marske is £1800-£2000. Your help, great or small, will be much appreciated.
