Classic Model to Receive New Parts!

If you’re reading this then you must be one of those people lucky enough to say you have Jordy in your life. We are blessed to be able to spend most of our week with him. One thing that stands out about JVW is that he is a man able to wear many hats! He is a dad, a husband, a brother, a son, a friend, a competitor in the lane, a hot rod builder, and just an all around damn good guy!

About a year ago, Jordy was told his kidneys were junk and it was time for an upgrade. This news hit hard, but unlike most parts issues in his life, these failing parts couldn’t be overnighted from Summit or Jegs. The path ahead was spent doing countless hours of research and learning new ways to live with his diagnosis. Through it all, his smile never waivered, and his spirit never faltered. If it got him down, he never let it show. He is always the first one to crack an uncomfortable joke, and make everyone else feel better first.

After almost a year of being poked, prodded, and going through every test imaginable to determine where to get the upgraded parts for his chassis, good news finally arrived. Jordy has finally got a date for going under the knife to get a kidney transplant. His sister Mackenzie learned one of her kidneys was just hanging around taking up space, so she graciously volunteered to have it yanked out and given to big brother to get some use out of.

It’s crazy to think of all of the parts that Jordy has replaced on vehicles over the years because they failed or needed upgrading, and now he is getting his own replacement parts from a newer model.

Throughout this process, Jordy and Mac will be travelling to and staying in Calgary where they will be laid up for 10+ weeks recovering and making sure everything goes the way it needs to. Through out this time, we are hoping to raise some funds to help with the travel expenses and living costs that will arise. If you aren’t able to donate, we simply ask that when May 14th comes around you take a minute to pray for Jordy and Mac and wish them a speedy recovery.

Jordy is truly the first guy to give you the shirt off his back and we are setting this up as a ‘don’t worry, we got you brother while you are down’ fund. Everything is going to be great and we can’t wait to see you back doing all the things you love soon!
