Class Trip To China

Hi, my name is Addy, I have the oppotunity to travel to China in June 2017 with my high school Chinese class. I am so happy my high school offers Chinese classes. I have a great teacher who takes groups of kids to China each year. At the beginning of the year she informd us that this summer will be her last travel group. So instead of waiting until my senior year, we had to make the decsion to go after my freshman year.
We will be traveling to Beijing, Hangzhou and Shanghai. While there, we will be sightseeing and more importantly learning about the history of the country and using our Mandarin speaking skills. This opportunity is very important to me as I was adopted from China when I was 8 1/2 months old. It has always been my dream to return and see what my birth country is like. I hope this trip will help me understand more about my past and give me a clearer idea of what it would have been like to grow up there. I will be working hard to raise the funds by having a bake sale, garage sale, and doing babysitting jobs.
