Class of '70 for Bob

Our classmate, Bob Flowers, had two strokes and brain surgery nearly seven years ago.  He is paralyzed but has lived independently so far.  He has exhausted all of his savings and now is living completely on his SSI benefit.  His electric wheelchair requires $900 to replace the toggle switch and he wants to move back to the Waukesha area where more of us can help him remain independent.  We are asking for money to help him pay his first month's rent and security deposit.  We would also like to fix his wheelchair and get him moved back to the Waukesha area.  He also has some medical expenses and no longer receives Medicaid.  
We need to raise some money as soon as possible, because Bob's lease is up and he can no longer stay where he is now living in Fond du Lac.  Those of us who have visited Bob over the years found that we were inspired by his positive attitude and ability to always see the glass half full.  This from a man who was always the picture of health and now can't even walk or use both of his arms.  He has also lost vision in one eye.   The days and nights are very long for Bob.  He is in constant pain and recently tore his rotator cuff on his good side.  While he never, ever complains, we are seeing that he is beginning to worry how he will be able to keep going.
It would mean the world to us and to him if we could just help him move back to the area and be able to maintain his limited independence.  Bob has always been the one to help others and now he needs our help.  
We would be so grateful for any help you could give.  As we look forward to our 50th class reunion in two years, it would be wonderful to know we helped one of our own be able to get around and maintain some quality of life.
