CLASS IS N SESSION in partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Washington will host its 4th annual back-to-school event, focused on health, wellness and community, on Tuesday, August 21st from 1:00pm-6:00pm at 400 N Payne St, Alexandria, VA .
Class Is N Session will provide a half day of free classes and fun activities for students in Alexandria and surrounding communities and will distribute packed book bags so that students can start the school year confident, and equipped with tools for success. This event is free and open to the public.
This year’s back-to-school event will include the distribution packed book bags to students in underserved communities in Washington, DC and Virginia.
To reach this goal, Class Is N Session is calling on the local community to participate in a book bag and school supply drive!
Please show your support of our continued effort by donating online and/or bringing your cash or in kind donations to Gryphon (1337 Connecticut Ave. NW DC) on Sunday, August 12th between 12:00 noon - 4:00 pm OR Rosebar (1215 Connecticut Ave NW DC) on Saturday August 18, 2018 from 4:00 pm - 9"00 pm.
All money raised through online donations will be used to purchase book bags and school supplies for students. The deadline to make a monetary or book bag donation is Monday, August 20th 2018.
