Class End of Year Surprise!

My Grade 5 students have been working hard all year—and now they’re putting their persuasive writing skills to the test! Each student is writing a persuasive letter for a “YES” day! The goal is to convince me (their teacher) to say “YES” to one unforgettable day of fun in June.

After reading their drafts, it’s clear that what they hope for the most is a field trip—a day out together to celebrate their accomplishments. If possible, I’d love to surprise them with a special trip at no cost to their families.

We’re hoping to raise $600 to cover the cost of the venue and transportation. Any extra funds will go toward food, treats, and other surprises to make this the best day ever.
