Class 17-03 Legacy Gift
Donation protected
Class 17-03,
It is common practice for classes to leave behind a "legacy gift" at the NCO Academy. Traditionally, that means a plaque or painting that is donated to the school where it takes up some wall space for future students to walk by.
Instead of that, why not leave a legacy gift that will benefit others? I'm asking that we combine our individual efforts to impact the lives of people in need.
One of the locations that we volunteered at was the Warrior and Family Support Center. This is a facility utilized by injured service members who are recovering or rehabilitating from lengthy medical procedures. It is a safe environment where they and their families can relax away from the hospital. The Warrior and Family Support Center operates without normal DoD funding, and therefore relies on donations to operate. It is an amazing facility ran by dedicated people trying to better the lives of our struggling brothers and sisters.

I've created this group with the intent to provide a medium for members of NCOA 17-03 to donate, but feel free to share it with anyone else who would like to contribute. 100% of funds received will be given to The Warrior and Family Support Center.
This request is not in any way associated with the Robert D. Gaylor NCO Academy or the US Air Force.
