Clarkston Farm organics Needs a new well

My name is Vicki Moore and this is the first time reaching out on this platform. I was inspired to set up this fund for a very important organic farmer and friend in Clarkston mi........ Meet Sean Garvey of Clarkson Farm. He is a former interior landscape artist turned farmer and

has been growing beautiful organic veggies for over 7 yrs. His mission started in 2013 when he purchased an 8 acre parcel in Clarkston with the idea that he could grow fresh food that he could provide the community

at conventional prices. In 2014 he was forced to put the farm on hold and dedicate his time to help his sick mother. His mission and vision never wavered and in 2016 Sean was back on the path to his dream!! He was a sight for sore eyes at the Pontiac Oakland Farmers market in a sea of non-organic food. Sean is now an important fixture to the market and a great example of where the farm community could be. He also has a CSA that many are dependent on as well.

Sean is a single handed farmer with a few staff and volunteers. We are reaching out because the water well on the farm has "tanked" and you support will help keep the organic veggies flowing. Without a well, of course the farm and mission will be in jeopardy. It is so important to keep farms such as Clarkston Farm as a constant reminder and inspiration of future farmers. Not to mention clean food. Sean is not only the farmer he also is very instrumental in support and education of the young, new farmers from the Michigan State University extension program …. He truly is
