Clark’s Gender Affirming Surgery Fund

Hi, my name is Clark, and I’m transgender. For as long as I can remember, my relationship with my body has been an ongoing struggle. I’ve lived for years in a body that doesn’t quite fit me, and walk around every day feeling uncomfortable in my skin. Like many trans people, I felt this way for a long time before being able to understand what I was experiencing. After coming out as trans and starting my medical transition with hormones two years ago, I finally have a date for the final step: I will be getting gender affirming surgery in April 2021. This surgery will allow me to finally be completely at home in my body. I have been saving up for the last two years while working full time to support myself. All funds I’m able to raise from this fundraiser will go directly to paying for the rest of my surgery and recovery. The recovery time for this surgery means I will have to take a period of time off work to heal and will not have any income during that time. I have 6 months before my top surgery in April and need some help to finish paying for my surgery.
