The Allen’s have been family to my family for years. A few weeks ago, Clark Allen was like most 22-year-olds, settling into adulthood with his first “career” job at Peterbilt, paying his own bills, working out at the gym, and hanging out with friends on his days off. What started out as aches after workouts and tiredness that was attributed to his new full-time schedule working nights, took a sudden turn on a Saturday night, when the pain became unbearable and his leg became swollen and numb.
A trip to the ER turned into a few days and then the news his family and friends dreaded: cancer. Clark was referred to MD Anderson in Houston and after a biopsy, it was determined that he would have chemo for 5 straight days as the tumor is very aggressive and growing rapidly. He will have more chemo in a few weeks, but that will be decided after the doctors see the results of the first round.
During this stressful time, Clark’s parents have been by his side the whole time. I want to help them with their travel expenses and medical bills. Please help the Allen’s focus on Clark’s recovery and give any amount you can. And prayers, lots of prayers.
Thank you in advance for your generosity!
