Hi, my name is Veronica Felipe, and I’m raising funds for my sister-in-law Clarissa, whose liver issues began suddenly back in August and have continued to worsen. She has now been placed on the liver transplant list, but her condition is too serious for her to return home — she has to stay in Gainesville until a match becomes available.

Since all of this started, Clarissa hasn’t been able to work, and my brother (Nelson Felipe) and niece have been taking turns making the three-hour drive from Palm Bay to Gainesville to care for her while still trying to keep up with their jobs. The constant travel, time away from work, and regular household bills have created an overwhelming financial strain.

With the holidays approaching, that pressure has only grown. My hope is that this fundraiser can help ease some of the burden so they can focus on supporting Clarissa while she waits for the transplant she urgently needs.
