Hello, I am delighted to share that I have been selected to participate in the 62nd Annual United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (UNCSW), March 12-23 of 2018. UNCSW is a group of women from all over the world who come together to solve problems and explore issues under a common theme. This year's theme looks at the challenges and opportunities in achieving gender equality and the empowerment of rural women and girls.
During my two weeks in New York City, I anticipate meeting many inspiring and accomplished women and girls my own age from across the globe who share the same vision I do of gender equality and creating a better world for generations to come. I am extremely grateful and excited to be afforded this amazing opportunity and to bring my perspective to the table.
The purpose of of my GoFundMe campaign is to raise the money I need for a plane ticket, hotel room, meals in New York City. Any donation would be a great blessing. Thank you!
