You may know Clarence "CW" Smith .You may know he has been married Hello Family and Friends. I am blessed to inform you that on Sunday August 4th I had a successful five hour double lung transplant.!! God is Good!! I spent 3 days in ICU. And had a minor stumble, where as I needed a blood transfusion. I still have two draining tubes on each side, which the doctors are going to remove Thursday . Will you please pray for my wife who has been more than a Woman to me! As I continue this amazing journey I do realize there is much more to be accomplished before the finish line. I must go to the hospital 5 times a week for 3 months of maintenance and rehab. Your prayers and donations are still needed!! God Bless to his wife JoAnna for 18 years. You may know that they both are devoted and dedicated members of The Church Of The Living God "The Love Corner" where CW is a Deacon ,he is also on the Watch Ministry, the male chorus, and is the Chairman of The TLCKINGS youth mentoring group. You also might know CW also been a passionate dog groomer for the past 18 years at Connie's Pet Grooming treating all dogs as if they were his own!! However you may not know that CW has COPD, emphysema, and pulmonary fibrosis !! He qualifies for a double lung transplant at Barnes Jewish Hospital,(Washington University) St.Louis.On May 28th he will officially be on the transplant list. After the transplant he is required to live within the radius set therefore for 3-4 months for regular and emergency visits. Therefore we are humbly and respectfully asking for financial assistance for housing!! Thanking you in advance!!

hello, my name is Connie Wilson. Clarence better known to his close friends as CW, has been my friend for more than 30 yrs. and is the father to my youngest daughter so his life is especially important to my family.
He has worked with me in my business(Connie's Pet Grooming) for the last 18yrs and is well known in the community for the care and compassion of the people and pets we serve. He has been able to work with me on a very limited basis for the last year. He is unable to work at all now due to the increased demands and restraints of his oxygen supplied by tanks and hoses.
Clarence has been ill for the last couple years and has been accepted for a double lung transplant at Barnes memorial hospital in St. louis, Missouri which will require him to live near the hospital or up to 4 months at his own expense. we are asking for donations to assist with housing costs, medicines and medical supplies not covered by his insurance during his recovery for this period of time. please help us to make this happen.
