Clarence’s celebration of life

Hello, my name is Brian Alexander Christian. I am the first born to the late Clarence Mathias Christian Jr. I find myself being hesitant to write this and put his story out there especially in a time of need. My father recently passed away (New Year’s Eve). He fought a long hard battle against fibrosis of the lung due to a variety of reasons, Long Covid being one of them. My father wasn’t able to work since towards the end of 2022 due to his shortness of breath, fatigue and being on 24 hour supplemental oxygen. If anyone knew my dad they knew how hard it was for him to be confined to his house, and especially not being able to walk, run and spend time with his friends and family. Due to this horrible illness, my dad depleted his savings on costly medical procedures, hospitalizations, and treatments. As I was his power of attorney, medical proxy and made the final decision when it was time for my father to pass, it’s been hard to reach out, but I want to give him the kind of sendoff he deserves. He loved people, he believed in people and have always been there for persons in need. I’m therefore asking for your help to be able to have the celebration of life as well as any other expenses that have come with his passing. No gift is too small and will be greatly appreciated.
