In July 2014 Clare was diagnosed with terminal Stomach Cancer. Originally diagnosed with ovarian cancer and enduring a full hysterectomy and removal of a huge amount of cancer it was found that this was secondary to a more serious terminal stomach cancer which has been diagnosed as inoperable.

In December 2013 Clare gave birth to her beautiful son Joshua after several miscarriages and a fight to become what she has always wanted ... A mother.

6 months later this dream was ripped apart and Clare's hopes and dreams shattered in the process when this terrible disease found its next host.

Clare has since endured 8 rounds of EOX chemotherapy treatment and although the secondary cancer has since successfully reacted, the stomach cancer remains untouched and still diagnosed as terminal.

The search for a solution to this is still ongoing but the time has come to venture offshore for treatment. As you can imagine this treatment is not going to be funded by the NHS and as a result we , as a family are hoping that our many friends and their friends can help us raise funds to endure we can get the best treatment to fight this disease to keep Clare's dreams of seeing her son grow up are possible.

I as Clare's husband cannot explain how much I want this to happen and I am sure that you all will join me in supporting as much of a fighting chance to beat this as physically possible.
