Clara McDermott has recently been diagnosed with a form of non curable cancer.
She is fighting the way anyone whom has ever met Clara would expect….KICKING BUTT!
Clara’s attitude is amazing, but as strong as she is, this hideous disease is taking time away from her job as well as taking time away from her husband’s.
Clara is a resident of Montgomery NY and has been for many years. She is well known and loved by many through her job at Walden Savings Bank, her neighbors and her community. To know Clara is to love Clara.

Clara is an avid hiker, cyclist, overall active person and has always maintained great health. To learn this is happening to such a fit person at such an early age is almost unimaginable, however it is a very harsh truth.
Clara is married to her husband, Curt McDermott.
They are in this fight together. This cancer is affecting both of them emotionally, physically and certainly financially.
