Claire's Abdominal Surgery Fund

Hi! I'm Claire: Freelance gaming journalist at GameSpot, recurring character on Abraxas' Precipice, huge TTRPG nerd, and writer of too many words. I have an upcoming abdominal surgery on March 27th, 2025, and while I've got most of the surgery itself covered, the downside of being a freelancer is that I don't get paid time off. I'm not sure how long I'll need off for surgery--most folks need about 3-7 days, from what I understand--but I have several additional factors (including a genetic disease) that are likely to make my recovery more complicated... and lengthier.

Between the lack of income from missing work and the medical supplies I need to purchase for recovery, I'm definitely going to need some help if I hope to be able to cover rent/bills/living expenses following my surgery. Anything you can spare--be it $1 or $100--would be extremely helpful and deeply appreciated. If you can't spare anything in this disastrous, $5-for-eggs economy, I completely understand, but would deeply appreciate it if you could share the link to this fundraiser on social media or signal-boost it any way you can.
