My mom Claire was diagnosed with lung cancer two years ago, and shortly after my father completely removed himself from our lives. My mom was forced to find work to support my sister and I financially, but the cancer progressed to stage four, which left her unable to work for all of 2020.
Thankfully, COVID unemployment benefits allowed her to support us for most of this year, but the extra benefits came to an end a couple months ago. As a family, we decided 3 weeks ago it would be best for her to move to France to be with my grandmother, where she would be able to relax and not have the stress of supporting a living in Santa Barbara. Her and my sister were on a flight out the next week. 
However, the first three months of her medical treatment in France will not be covered by insurance, so we have to come up with the funds ourselves. We have a small amount of money saved up and I have been selling all of our belongings, but it will not be enough to pay her medical bills and support our livelihood.  We have done just about everything we can up to this point, but we can't do this on our own anymore. We would greatly appreciate any help that is given to us during this extremely difficult time.
