It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the recent passing of our dear friend Claire Dornbierer. Claire was a loving friend, who worked tirelessly to ensure that those in their community always felt included, accepted, and that they belonged.

Claire’s family is now faced with the difficult task of making post-mortem arrangements. This presents a huge financial burden, and as Claire’s friends, we are hoping to help lighten this load for their family during an already unimaginably challenging time. We are reaching out to our community for your support in funding Claire’s memorial and the related expenses that their family will incur during this time.

Claire was an extremely patient teacher and mentor, who was trusted without question by everyone who met them. Claire was ready to help at a moment’s notice, every time, without condition; and was unapologetically and authentically them, greeting whatever situation life threw at them with a smile and a contagious sense of humor. We will miss them deeply, as will their parents, and their siblings, to whom Claire was an intensely caring protector and role model.

Claire had a positive impact on so many people throughout their life and, whether you met them or not, we ask that you help us honor their memory. Your generosity will directly impact Claire’s family, helping to alleviate some of the financial strain in this incredibly painful process, and allowing them to focus on saying the hardest goodbye. We are extremely grateful for any contribution you can make towards this goal.
