Claire Bertrand's family emergency

Al Bertrand passed away early this morning, April 20th.

Friends of Claire and Al Bertrand and their two wonderful kids, Eve and Jamie, are raising funds for the family's medical and other expenses. Al collapsed when he was in Washington, DC for work. His last two weeks were spent in ICU at George Washington University Hospital, with Claire by his side. Al had been the family's primary breadwinner, and it will be a struggle for the family to make ends meet in the months to come. Al’s collapse was unanticipated.
