Hello, my name is Lela Alber. I have had the pleasure of knowing Claire for over 20 years. Her mother Kathy is one of my best friends. Yesterday I was contacted by Kathy, Claire's mom who told me of this awful accident. Earlier this week Claire passed away. The circumstances of her death are still unknown, although it is suspected she drowned. Pearl's father passed away a few years ago. Without her parents Pearl, Claire's daughter will likely return to Seattle to now be raised by her grandmother Kathy. Who will certainly need help financially to help with Pearl's future. My heart breaks for the family and Pearl. Claire was an amazing soul, one of a kind, and a very special person.
