Hi guys. We are really having to swallow our pride to make this. We are a very do-it-yourself family, but we are simply in over our heads. On July 25th, we were affected by heavy flooding in our basement of sewer water backup. We lost everything, including our family's entertainment room and our oldest daughter's room, including all furniture, carpet, baseboards, doors and items that have to be thrown away due to contamination. We had a company come over and estimated us over $10,000 just to get the basement in a safe condition. We have to remove all carpet, including the entire staircase. All furniture and personal items that were downstairs have to be thrown away. And we have to cut the walls up 2 1/2 ft. The company will then dry and deep clean everything. Our insurance covers up to $10,000, so that covers almost the cleanup but not anything to help remodel or recover lost items. We are humbly asking for anyone to donate anything if you can and if you can't, please share.
