CL Tampa Bay Staff layoff

Donation protected

On March 18, in the wake of the fallout related to the global coronavirus pandemic, Creative Loafing Tampa Bay’s parent company, Euclid Media Group (EMG), announced layoffs at each of its seven newspapers.

In Tampa, seven staffers across editorial, production, events and sales were let go . This GoFundMe is to help (1) section editor, (1) designer, (1) part-time designer and (1) part-time writer stay on their feet as they navigate the coming months.

UPDATE:  The total loss in the newsroom ended up including and additional part-time designer, so this GoFundMe now supports four laid of CL edit team members.

Our friends could use this money immediately. You can help by donating or by sharing this post.
