Building the Studio!

Marc Andre just purchased a house in Terrasses Vaudreuil.  This little two-bedroom a-frame is a perfect home… all-be-it in need a lot of love and labour!   One of the reasons this house is perfect is the fact that there is a garage that can become a functioning artist studio.   The work required includes everything that one can imagine to update a garage (structural, heat, light, storage, work-surfaces, etc.) and the added challenge to add ventilation to make the space a healthy and safe place to work!

Given the challenges of a steady income for an artist, we thought that many  would be willing to contribute to this campaign “Building the Studio”.  This is not a charity… and although Marc will appreciate any donations of cash and/or labour… we want you to pre-purchase a Marc-Andre original! 

So here is how it works!

Using the GoFundMe platform, we will accept any amount of contribution for the cause. Here is a guideline to follow:  

·         Amounts between $50 and $99 will receive an original 3 X 4 miniature watercolor painting. 

·         Amounts between $100 and $199 will receive an original 4 X 6 miniature watercolor painting.

·         Amounts between $200 and $399 will receive an original 6 X 9 watercolor painting.     

·         Amounts between $400 and $799 will receive an original 9 X 12 watercolor painting.

·         Donations over $800,  Marc Andre will paint a custom piece with a size limit of 16 X 20. A consultation will take place  to figure out subject matter and how best to proceed!  

Everyone who financially supports the campaign will also receive an invitation to the “The Patron’s Party”, a fun shindig hosted in the renovated studio probably sometime in summer of 2021.

Marc takes possession of the house at the end of October!  The campaign will run until September 30, thereby giving Marc Andre the ability to complete our art before he is knee deep in renovations!  If this campaign is extraordinarily successful, it may take Marc-Andre sometime to complete all the commissions!
