Rest in peace mummy❤️

Hiya, With a heavy heart, I'm announcing the sudden death of Linda Anan, my mother. She was my best friend. She's done her absolute best in raising me and has always gone above and beyond for me. I can never repay her for what she's done. My mummy has been such a light to this world. I was amazed by the number of messages I got from people just describing how positively she had impacted their lives . The least I can do for her is to do my absolute best to give her the send off she deserves. As she was not sick or ill, and didn’t have any long-term illness prior to the incident, we were very shocked and very unprepared for this news. She collapsed in the bathroom, where my dad found her and called 999 but they could not get to her in time. I was on campus at the time, (having just started uni). My dad called me and in struggling to break the news to me, handed the phone to the paramedics, who told me "we've done all we can, but unfortunately your mum has passed". My world was shattered. She's been an amazing carer to my dad who's suffered from a brainstem stroke which unfortunately left him paralyzed on the right side of his body. With no siblings, I'm now left to care for my father, whilst also aiming to gain an education to enable myself to support my father and I in the longer term. After realising my newfound responsibilities as a teenager, I started a search to find a temporary job to help pay the bills my mum has left behind, but with the Corona situation, the risk I would be putting my dad at by potentially exposing him to the virus, has made this job search rather difficult. It was at this moment I knew I could not do this alone and that I needed help from the community. Your donations will not only go towards my mummy's funeral costs like the coffin, burial, headstone...etc., which are around £6000 for a standard burial, but will also go towards easing the financial strain on my dad and I, (my mum was the sole breadwinner), whilst I figure out a long term plan.
