Hello Everyone,
I wanted to share an important and difficult update. After a hard fight, the doctors have let us know that the next step in Lindsay’s journey is hospice care.
She will be surrounded by family and loved ones during this time, and we are focusing on making her as comfortable as possible.
We are beyond grateful for all the support, prayers, and donations that have helped us come this far. As we enter this next phase, any continued support will go toward hospice costs, ongoing family needs, and giving Lindsay the most beautiful service.
Thank you again for being part of this with us — it means more than we can say.
We will keep you updated as we can. Please continue to keep Lindsay, her kids, her fiance, and our family in your thoughts.

With love,
Jackie

Update on 12/15/24

On November 22, Lindsay began her first round of chemotherapy after her oncologist staged her cancer at stage 4. She is strong, resilient, courageous, and, most of all, beautiful! She’s working hard to navigate her new normal.

On Wednesday, after experiencing significant hair loss, she made the brave decision to shave it off.

She’s been in and out of the hospital dealing with various challenges. On Thursday, she had the chance to spend a lovely afternoon with her daughter and watch Moana 2. However, on Friday, instead of continuing her chemotherapy, she was admitted to the hospital due to an infection.

I know Lindsay and her support squad are always in your thoughts, but this Sunday, please keep lifting her and our family up in your prayers. Thank you so much for all your continued love and support!

Update 11/21/24
Hello, Support Squad,
Lindsay will be starting her second round of chemotherapy tomorrow. She is currently unable to work, and I would love for her to focus on her treatment without the added stress of bills and the upcoming holidays. Lindsay is a devoted mother of four children, three of whom live with her (ages 19, 17, and 1).

Any donations will go directly to Lindsay to help with bills, groceries, holiday expenses, and other essentials.

Thank you all for your love and support during this challenging time!

I am making this gofund me in hopes to make Lindsay's cancer battle a little less stressful. As many know the Carr family went through a difficult 2023. In May they unexpectedly lost their sister/daughter/aunt Lisa to an underlying health condition. While still grieving their loss they received tragic news that Lindsay was diagnosed with ampullary cancer. Since her diagnosis she has spent many of those days in the hospital. She recently underwent a six hour surgery and has a long recovery ahead of her. As the sole provider of three kids, Lindsay still has bills to pay. With some help of the community we could really make her fight a little less stressful. Any donations will be beyond appreciated.
