Culinary Arts for Lincoln High
Help Portland's Future Foodies Flock to Success!
There's a new program launching this fall at Lincoln High School located in Portland, Oregon: Culinary Arts! Over 300 students signed up for the class and we need your help to get the program on its feet. We are striving to provide high-end vocational training in food services. Lectures from food industry professionals and field trips to food carts, restaurants, and farms will offer students insight into the many aspects of the culinary world.
Providing top-notch skills to help students succeed in the important and ever-changing Culinary Arts industry is an important goal we can all embrace. Raising funds to purchase small and large kitchen equipment is very doable - but only with your help! Please help us create a new Culinary Arts Center At Lincoln High School!
Lincoln’s program will be ran out of a mid-century cafeteria style kitchen straight out of the 1950’s. We currently have a small handful of kitchen equipment, the kitchen space, and that’s about it. Please help us fundraise so students have proper equipment by the first day of school - September 2nd, 2014.
