Our Great Pyrenees dog, Winston, was run over in our parking lot at Danenberger Family Vineyards. After a visit to the ER and Cass Veterinary Services in Virginia, Illinois, we learned he has a dislocated hip and requires surgery and therapy to walk again.

Winston was a rescue that we adopted as a puppy from PAWs in Jacksonville, IL. He has always loved being a working dog at the winery, greeting customers and patrolling the property. At night when everyone is gone, he loves walking our borders, keeping the coyotes and small animals away.

We are worried that he may never get that freedom back, but we are hopeful that the skilled vets will do everything possible to get him back to DFV, where customers can love and cuddle him again soon. - Susan Danenberger, DFV wines
