Save a life- Support Wendy

My name is David Cook and I am fundraising to help my wife with her cancer medical treatment. Wendy is a Tennessee girl. My “whiskey in a teacup.” Wendy is the most giving and compassionate person I have ever met. She is selfless and giving to others without thought for herself. Anyone who has met or talked to Wendy knows that she is a genuinely a good person. I cannot tel you in words how much of an honor it is to be married to this women. On April 25, 2022 we discovered that she has stage four ovarian cancer. Her doctors in Pensacola recommended that she go to MD Anderson as she needed surgery and their staff was not skilled enough to perform the type of surgery and post surgery care she would need to save her life. Wendy went on FMLA but eventually was released from her job because she was not able to return. We have suffered a huge loss of income along with countless medical bills. Wendy underwent three chemotherapy treatments and seemed to be subsiding. But, this kind of cancer is very aggressive and it has come back so she is currently undergoing chemotherapy again at MD Anderson in Houston. I am okay spending my last dime on her medical care and eating peanut butter and jelly and ramen everyday if it means saving my wife’s life. I did not want to make this page and I still do not. My pride has kept me from asking for help but the financial burden has become too great not to at least ask. My Mother always said it doesn’t hurt to ask” but it does. So, I am asking for your help. Amy money raised will be used for her trips to MD Anderson, medical expenses etc.
