Otis Recovery Fund
Donation protected
Hello. We are friends and family of Otis Burns. He is loved and respected in every community he has ever been apart of from that of his home towns to his Northeastern University community. Otis is on a full scholarship to Northeastern University as part of the Torch Program for first generation low income college students. His junior year, Otis went to visit family in Mississippi. There, he caught Covid-19 which triggered a spiral of medical horrors leading him into a coma for multiple months. Not expected to survive, Otis defied odds and woke up. Slowly but surely Otis is relearning how to talk, walk, and return to his former self. That being said, the road to recovery is long, and the odds are against him. Otis' sister, Neveah, has become a full time care taker of Otis to avoid him going into a Nursing home. That being said, despite the odds being against him, Otis is a strong man. He WILL pull through, but he needs our help. both in prayer, in physical care, and financially. Please consider donating to this fundraiser to give Otis the chance in life he deserves. All of the money raised will go directly to him and his sister and will be used to help him in this recovery process.
