Retired K-9 Byoo needs our help

Retired K-9 Byoo is fighting for his life in a veterinary hospital following emergency surgery for mesenteric torsion. We need help with both prayers as well as any amount large or small that you can contribute to his care. K-9 Byoo was enjoying a vacation in the snow with his family when he became very ill. He was seen at a Lake Taho local vet who felt that he needed immediate surgery & he was then rushed the a veterinary hospital in Reno. He is currently in surgery and will possibly require another surgery & additional critical care for up to a week.


9 year old K-9 Byoo & his partner served the citizens of San Jose & the SF Bay Area for 8 years as a member of the San Jose PD K-9 Unit. He helped to take many bad guys & drugs off of the streets and also was a favorite with many community groups & schools. K-9 Byoo just retired in the fall and we need your help to make sure that he can make it through this ordeal & enjoy the retirement that he very much deserves.


All donations are tax deductible and any amount raised above the amount needed for his care will be held in a fund for the future care of K9 Byoo & his fellow retired San Jose PD K9 team members.
