Steve Reed family assistance

My husband, Steven Reed, was in a devastating motorcycle/car accident on October 7th.  His injuries were severe and he was airlifted to Bronson's ER and trauma center where is has been for the last 11 days. 

During this time I have been off work and by his side.  Soon they will move him to Mary Freebed in Grand Rapids for inpatient rehabilitation.  The doctors can't estimate how long it will be for my husband to recover enough to even come home.  Unfortunately this means no income to pay the bills.  To top it off, on my way home tonight from being by his bedside, I had a deer run into my car causing extensive damage so I can't drive it.  So on top of bills that are piling up, I now have a $500 deductible to pay in order to get my car fixed. 

I have struggled non-stop with the insurance and even the attorney's office because the local police department still has not released the police report.  I can't get anywhere without it due to everyone requiring it to even start processing the claims.  His employer sent his disability and FMLA paperwork by certified mail and sure enough, the mail person didn't even bother knocking on the door so we could sign for it, they just left a slip that I can sign and will have to wait another 2 - 3 business days for them to redeliver.  Then I will have to wait for the hospital to complete the documents so I can send them back to Ohio.  Then wait again for corporate to process.

I'm at my wits end.  I am swallowing my pride and asking for any help people wish to donate to help us get through until things get better.  Your charity will help keep our household going and I cannot thank you enough.
