Help Artists/Vendors keep their businesses afloat
The Item Shop Guild is a group of artists and vendors working in the midwest and further parts at all your favorite Anime/Furry/Sci-Fi/Comic/etc conventions.
If we raise the full amount it will give close to $1000 to every member of the group which is now 500 members, including the fees for GoFundMe.
This can help all the artists that spend so much time on work that they can't get to a wide enough audience without the conventions and Vendors that are completely out of jobs till the Covid-19 quarantine and closure of events around the US stop and things return to normal.
We hope to make this goal by July 1st to help Vendors and artists struggling right now with their rent payments, credit card payments, food money, gas money. It can help in so many ways for those of us that live only on our small business convention income.
Please help us by donating even a few dollars and spreading the word about our campaign. Give us a shout out if you have followers on any solical media platform and together we can all get through this!!!
Current Goals
Goal 1 - $5000 - We will put the money towards guild merchandising and paying our in guild artists who are chosen through guild voting to make said designs. We hope with more guild branding we can work at having larger booths with more artists/vendors in one section to promote our artists and vendors better and have a professional look to help this along.
Goal 2 - $8000 - The previous goal plus a guild supply for building joint booths. - Not all artists or vendors can host a larger setup or have all they need for a good setup. We plan to put some money towards backdrops for artists to hang their work, cube shelving to build a table, small essentials to help make our guild members stand out and gain more traction at con.
Goal 3 - $15,000. The previous goals plus the start of social media advertising. Through facebook we hope to promote the guild and the small businesses within as well as start a small fund that will grow with guild merch sales to advertise to the areas our group members are vending at for conventions when those get back up and running.
Goal 4 - $25000 - The previous goals plus a second guild pool of money to help our members get signage/banners/business cards as well as small guild signs for their booths/tables.
Goal 5 - $35000- All Goals Plus the start of the money pool to help give some sort of Financial help to all the businesses in our Guild that are suffering financial loss.
Goal 7 - $602900 - TOP GOAL!! Party time! At this point we will take a poll within the guild to see what is most needed between all our members and then give options of a sum of money or any combination of the previous goals on a member by member basis to make equal amounts split between the entire guild. This could potentially help us all as small businesses to grow and help to pad the blow from the Covid-19 outbreak putting us all out of work for a few months.
