Peace Be Upon You. My name is Naeemah Ziyad and I am a 3rd generation Muslim African American, a full time student at Howard University majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. I am scheduled to graduate in May of 2020. My ambition after graduation is to continue my studies and to one day become a doctor. It was at Clara Mohammed Elementary School and WD Mohammed High School where I learned the value of education and service to community. When I graduated, I knew paying for college for the next 4 years would be a struggle, like it has been for many families, but too many have proven that it can be achieved. I have made it this far and I don’t intend to give up now. I am scheduled to return to school to complete my final semester as a Junior but I am unable to raise the $8,500 needed to pay my tuition. I have heard all my life that if I do the work and have a sincere heart, that G-d will send help. Never have I been more sincere about living my dream of becoming Dr. Ziyad. I believe in G-d’s promise and because I know that I have always put my education above all else, I believe that help will come through you. Please donate to my gofundme! I commit that I will continue to strive for excellence, perform to achieve my very best, and remain committed to help build the community life that we all desire and deserve. We should not be satisfied until we have built communities with schools, stores, hospitals, homes and financial strong families. If you are able to help me in anyway I will be forever grateful for your donation. Thank you so much and G-d’s blessings be upon you.
Sincerely,
Naeemah Ziyad
