Hi, my name is Kayla Ford and I am setting up this fundraiser for my cousin Jennifer and her husband Dan Queever.
Seemingly out of nowhere, Dan came down with severe back pain on 4/10/21. After going to the ER and trying to manage the pain unsuccessfully, he went back the next day where they found out he has Renal Cell Carcinoma. They sent him by ambulance to Green Bay, and then another ambulance to Milwaukee to somehow manage the pain.
On Friday 4/16 Dan had his right kidney removed. Unfortunately when they got in there, they realized he had a blood clot occluding his vena cava, and a pulmonary embolism. He is doing well from that surgery and his pain is getting much more manageable. They are currently waiting on pathology reports to see what the next steps are.
Dan is an awesome father and husband, so let's make this hard time a little less stressful for them! Your donation will help with non-covered medical costs, lost wages and ongoing support for Jennifer and family.
