The Linganore Lancer Marching band has been invited to perform at the National Parade of Heroes - A Monumental Salute to the Veterans on the National Mall in Washington, DC, on Saturday, November 13, 2021, to honor those who bravely served our country during the past century of our nation's history. A special ceremony takes place in honor of all our war veterans, including WWII, The Korean War, The Vietnam War, The Gulf War, and the War on Terror. The marching band has been given the honor of performing the National Anthem at both the Lincoln Memorial and the World War II Memorial at this event. We are seeking donations to offset transportation costs for this opportunity for the band to perform this tribute to our veterans.
