Hi everyone the Moore family needs our help. They lost Chris, their husband, and their father, after a grueling battle with Covid at the end of September.

Chris served our country honorably in the Marines and Ginger, his wife, has served the Abilene community for nearly 20 years as a healthcare professional. It’s our turn to serve them now.

I am asking for enough to help with the mortgage and utilities as well as some healthcare costs for the Moores for a year. If we can ease this burden on Ginger and the kids, they can start to truly grieve the way they need and deserve. 

Ginger has been a constant in my life from the very beginning (literally she was there the day I was born). She has been the one ever-present and steady rock and encourager of my life no matter time, distance, or difference because that’s the loyal compassionate person she is. I know I am not the only one who has benefited from Ginger’s kindness and steadfastness, and now it’s time for us to give back to her because this loss is wearing her down.

I had the pleasure and honor of being a bridesmaid at Chris and Ginger’s wedding. I’ve never known her to be so excited about something. Chris didn’t just make Ginger a wife, he also made her a mother, starting day one with Darrion and then three years later with Paisley. This was a dream Ginger held in her heart for a long time and Chris brought her that gift. 

Chris was an incredibly loving spouse and father and his absence is felt by his family in so many ways. While we, their community, may not be able to offer the specific kind of love provided by Chris to Darrion, Paisley, and Ginger, we can help fill in some of the financial loss.
