Hi I'm Julie Adams and we're raising money for my brother David Panik who passed away 5:30 a.m on March 3rd. He was severely disabled with low-functioning Autism, because of his disability almost no life insurance companies would give him insurance. My father (Jerry Panik) called multiple life insurance companies and they said they couldn't supply life insurance unless they talked to David (whom couldn't speak). Finally his group home found a company who would supply David with life insurance last month. My dad signed paper work but the insurance hadn't kicked in yet. Since he was disabled many people didn't put him as a priority they would simply put him at the back of the list. My brother had such a hard and troubled life. Our whole family was not expecting him to pass so soon he had just turned 40 years old in January. We are currently waiting for an autopsy to findout how he passed because he hadn't showed any signs of illness. We're praying it wasn't a mistake by a caregiver (possibly giving too much medication) or if it was a natural death. We just don't know but we are hurt and confused and we need any help we can.
