Jackson family NICU journey

Hello All! My name is Michelle, as many of you know I am Kyra’s mom. Many have asked how they can help the Jackson family as they trek through these uncharted and unexpected territory so I’ve decided to set up this account so that anyone who would like to help can. Kyra and Casey were expecting their third and final baby May 28th 2023. Unfortunately, Kyra’s water broke at 24 weeks and was admitted into the hospital. After being admitted, a plan was put in place to keep her from delivering. After a two week stay of fighting labor, possible infections and keeping the both of them stable baby girl couldn’t wait much longer. She was born at 26 weeks and 3 days weighing 2lbs 7.8oz. Thankfully within the two week stay Kyra received mediations to help develop baby girl, knowing preterm labor was eminent. The medications helped improve her chance of survival but are looking at a long NICU stay.

After getting settled into the NICU, they were told they do not qualify for hospital housing due to being 5 miles too close. With the long drive to and from the hospital, we would like to help offset the costs. If you feel called to donate, we greatly appreciate it and all of the money will go towards this family and the expenses that come along delivering a micropreemie.
