Gabby, my dear friend from college, is going through a battle that no one should have to face. Not long ago, Gabby suffered a subarachnoid hemmorrhage which was caused by two brain aneurysms bursting. This type of stroke is normally deadly before a person can get treatment. Gabby subsequently suffered from acute respitory failure and cerebral salt wasting which she also battled through surving what many doctors consider unsurvivable. She had 2 brain surgeries to repair the damage. Unfortunately, the aneurysm has grown back. Her next surgery, and the most dangerous one, is scheduled for next month. During all of this, Gabby has had extraordinary medical bills that insurance hasn't covered and has had to survive through this medically and also financially.
