Dans Road to Recovery

Dan and his wife Jenn have been on an adventure of a lifetime together. After meeting in Ontario working at a restaurant they moved down to the Bahamas to work on Liveaboard scuba diving boats. They got married and began a voyage on their own sailboat. They sailed from Ontario along the coast past the Bahamas and landed in the Dominican Republic where they live now with their three dogs Gordon, Larry, and Rick. They have recently opened a new booming restaurant called “the North” as a nod to their Canadian heritage.

April 10, 2022 Dan was in a terrible motorcycle accident. He was transported to a private hospital in the Dominican Republic and is currently in Intensive Care with a head injury. It is uncertain at this time how long his road to recovery will be. More tests and procedures may need to be done. The emergency room visit and ICU have already racked up $7000 US. As Jenn and Dan do not have insurance or medical coverage in the DR I would like to support in any way possible, finances should not be a barrier to getting the care, tests, and rehabilitation he may need.
